Development of Stramash as a Social Enterprise
Managed by:
Argyll & Bute Council
|
Project Description |
|
Stramash is a three year outdoor education project fully funded by the Lottery and run by Argyll & Bute Council to provide access to outdoor activities for young people. Lottery funding will not be renewed. However, the success of the project and research backed up by a business plan indicates that Stramash has the potential to continue delivering outdoor education by becoming an independent social enterprise.
The aim of the project is to employ a development officer to take the group through the process of becoming a social enterprise, ensure all structures and policies are in place, prepare a development plan for the new board to follow and to provide training for board members. |
